Sometimes my job as a photographer, is about more than just creating images with my clients. It's being a cheerleader when someone isn't sure about themselves, adjusting crowns and wiping away tears.
Sitting in the makeup chair, giggling and dancing to Stevie Nicks, I knew Sheena was my kind of people, but it became obvious as we began our session that behind that beaming smile was a woman who had been through some shit and along the way, had forgotten what an absolute GODDESS she was. So we laughed, cried, danced and I helped her pick up her crown.
