Visual Story Teller

Growing up in rural Arizona, in a family of makers and small business owners taught me the value and joy of being a creator & a #girlboss early on. My passion for photography began when I was given a Polaroid instant camera to document a family trip, and I've had a camera in my hand pretty much ever since. In high school I began to study the basics of photography and in college my first real training was in 35mm film. Eventually I reluctantly transitioned over to digital, but I have and always will love the texture and depth of film.

At age 12, I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes, when I fell into a coma from Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). The doctors only gave me a 50/50 chance of survival. Since I beat those odds & came out of that ordeal complication-free I've had a take-no-shit outlook on life. I don't have time for unearned guilt or crappy feelings. I have a life that needs living, and I'm going to live it unapologetically.

Portraiture has always been where my heart is. It's the moments in between the posed shots that are always my favorite, because that's when my clients are finally relaxing into themselves. My love of the vintage Pin Up propelled me towards Boudoir but it was my desire to see women stand up with, instead of against each other that made my goals clear.

Create images that empower and fill my clients with joy.
